About Us

Bethel Healthcare Group (hereafter referred to as “BHG”) is New Zealand’s most innovative and progressive personnel services entity within the healthcare sector. Our head office is in Christchurch. We have a customer-focused and dedicated team providing friendly, efficient and reliable services. We employ skilled registered nurses, enrolled nurses, nurse aides and caregivers to meet the needs of our clients.

We offer a 24/7 service. Please contact us for more information and to discuss your requirements. We provide temping and permanent placement services. Our priority is clients and patients above everything else.
A schedule of our fees is available on request.

Our Core Values

Integrity - we are consistent around our values, principles and outcomes.
Empathy - by empathizing with clients, we put 110% effort to meet their requirements.
Support – We leverage on being supportive to all our stakeholders.
Delivery - we deliver comprehensive HR services always, all the time and on time.
Quality – this is at the centre of all our systems and processes. It is then reflected in delivery of high quality services to our clients.

Looking for Staff

We have, on our database, skilled registered nurses, enrolled nurses, caregivers and allied health professionals to meet the needs of our clients.
What we offer
BHG specialises in the provision of temporary and permanent placements. Let us help you with your short term cover and permanent placement solutions. Our permanent placement fee is a percentage of the annual salary for local staff and a fixed fee for overseas recruitment. Temporary staff are interviewed and selected in exactly the same manner as permanent and are available at short notice. A confidentiality agreement is signed by all staff to safeguard your proprietary information.

For short term cover/casual employees, duty times can vary from 4 hours up to 12 hours. Where long term care is required a team of nurses can be rostered to provide continuity. We welcome client feedback.

Let us help you select and recruit staff more efficiently and effectively across a range of disciplines including:-

• Facility Managers
• Clinical Managers
• Team Leaders
• Registered Nurses
• Enrolled Nurses
• Practice Nurses
• Facility Administrators
• Caregivers / Health Care Assistants / Residential Support Workers
• Support Workers
• Medical Secretary/Receptionist
• Allied health workers

Recruitment Process
All our staff and candidates undergo thorough reference checks, police clearance, a check on current practising certificates and work experience completed prior to placement.

Overseas Recruitment
We recruit both from within New Zealand and overseas; from Facility managers to Registered Nurses and allied health professionals, ready for immediate start on short or long term contracts or in permanent roles. We have strategic contacts in Australia, India, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the Philippines, Fiji and many other countries. With our international contacts we have access to some of the best talent both locally and overseas. Our people can really make a difference to the way your healthcare is managed. Sourcing hard-to find nurses and allied health professionals is one of our key strengths.

Our Competitive Edge
We relieve the burden of finding high-quality experienced and reliable health professionals. All our candidates are fully screened, tested and referenced meaning that they are ready for work when you need them. We are always monitoring developments from the New Zealand Nursing Council and other registration boards. We provide advice to our candidates on English Language Assessment prior to applying for registration and matters concerning competency assessment.

So if you want the confidence of consistency and low risk and are looking for a provider with sourcing capabilities, quality candidates, professional services and expertise then contact BHG to discuss what your options are.

Further Training
We provide further training regarding workplace conduct and professionalism. All bureau staff are encouraged to hold a current First Aid Certificate. We offer a Professional Development Programme for our Registered and Enrolled Nurses and training for Caregivers.

Professional Approach
We deliver a professional, superior service that supports the New Zealand and Australia national care standards and codes of practice.
