Job Description:

Two types of Tasks are there
1) Build Task 
2) Connect Task

In Build Tasks

Scoping for ROW, MDUs and SDUs Tasks
Fibre Hauling and Blowing using blow gun and compressor
Locate and repair OSB remediation work
Concrete cutting & reinstatement
Locate under ground fibre and copper services
Mounting FTPs with conduit and seddals
Update records using paper forms 

In Connect Tasks

Composite cable and structured cabling.
ONT configuration using Telnet server
Commissioning broadband and VOF services and VOF to Copper wiring integration  
Records updating

Job Requirements:

Requirements:- 

-Must have Visionstream Training Competency Passport
-Class 1 Full Driving License 
-Knowledge in telecommunication wiring 
-Ability to work at heights
-Ability to work in confined spaces
-Ability to work around existing utilities such as buried water pipes and electrical cables as well as aerial pulled electrical cables
Knowledge of Chorus optical fibre, U/G copper cable jointing, fault location and repair.-Basic knowledge of cable color codes 
-Work on underground copper cables and wiring inside customer's premises.
-Solid problem-solving skills. 
-Have excellent hand/eye coordination for meticulous work. 
-Be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel. 
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work independently and as one man crew. 
-Must work well under pressure. 
-Be a good team player as and when required
-Must be willing to travel and work a flexible work schedule which would include on occasion Saturdays and Sundays. 
-Must be willing to carry out manual work regularly. 
-Digging within the vicinity of utility services.
