Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to enhance your career? We are looking for an experienced project manager to support our electricity team by providing strong works management with a dedicated drive for improvement on key business processes.

Main accountabilities include completion of works on time and to budget, reporting on works - both financial and physical progress, and ensuring all required documentation is provided at completion of each project.

You will require the following:
  • Minimum five-to-ten years knowledge and experience with electrical distribution networks with regards to network maintenance, operation, construction and/or design. In-depth knowledge of overhead construction required
  • Contract management skills. An understanding of commercial contracts and the practical application of the terms of those contracts
  • Strong commercial/financial acumen
  • Excellent project management skills with a reputation for on time, on budget delivery in a professional services environment
  • Good attention to detail and a professional attitude

You will have the following:
  • In depth knowledge of electricity industry legislative requirements. A consistent application is essential
  • Excellent communication, report writing and documentation skills
  • Great relationship building skills with the ability to interact at various levels across the organisation and with external customers/contractors
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • Demonstrated and effective negotiation and influencing ability
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel and MS Project
  • Effective time management skills
