We’re looking for that someone special who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast paced environment to lead a team of 11 Service coordinators who themselves manage over 300 Support staff to provide the best home based support in Auckland

What do we do? Healthcare NZ Community Health is the leading provider of community based Home Support, rehabilitation, nursing and mental health services in New Zealand with offices in 38 locations across New Zealand

What does a Senior Service Coordinator – Team Leader do? You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of 11 coordinators to achieve their operational KPIs and provide high quality, timely, effective, safe and reliable home based support services to people in their own home. 

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience managing and leading highly effective teams
  • Previous experience in recruitment and performance management of staff
  • A sound understanding of quality and risk management
  • Proven ability to drive quality assurance and continuous improvement in service delivery
  • Experience implement service delivery changes successfully
  • Develop positive relationships internally and externally, and provide strong customer service
  • Has great organisational and time management skills
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft suite and ability to manage working with different IT systems
  • New Zealand residency

Preferred but not essential:  

  • A Management or disability/health related qualification  
  • Previous experience in the health and disability sector preferably within a community setting
