Job Description:

DISPATCH / DELIVERIES / CABINETMAKING
 
Primary responsibilities
  • Experience in Dispatch is essential
  • All inward goods / products are efficiently checked and organised
  • Time manage and organise products requiring dispatching or picking-up by customers
  • Ensure that all relevant information regarding dispatch and inwards goods are entered correctly into the system
  • All deliveries are stored safely and are clearly labelled by job for easy identification
  • Work closely with the purchasing manager
  • Proactively chase up any issues with suppliers in regard to delivery
  • Handle dispatch questions from major customers
  • other tasks as requested by management
  • Think on your feet and problem solve
  • Must be flexible and able to help out in other areas if required
  • Able to read & speak English fluently.
  • Reliable and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Fit and able to pack and load
  • Cabinetmaking industry experience an advantage
  • Clean full NZ Driver’s License required – HT License would be a bonus
  • Fork Hoist License would be advantageous, but training will be given
Secondary responsibilities when / if required
  • Assist with deliveries
  • Assist on the manufacturing floor
  • Assist the factory floor supervisor
Job details:
  • Type - Full time permanent position
  • Wage - $25/hr neg with qualifications, skills & experience
  • Misc – Overtime available
  • Based – East Tamaki
  • Start - A.S.A.P.
