Our client is a reputable and innovative local business who are seeking a junior/intermediate graphic designer/content writer with strong administration skills to work for a reputable local business in design/content updates.

With a high volume of content and design updates, the role will require a systematic approach and a high attention to detail. Your main focus will be updating existing documents and manuals using Microsoft office and Adobe Suite. You will also be involved in updating content and a variety of internal resources, liaising with various staff members and performing a wide variety of functions

You will be working for a highly respected local employer that will boost your work experience and profile.

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a graphic designer and or content writer
  • Experience in content management systems
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Understanding in marketing/web content writing for print, digital and video channels
  • Ability to write to style required for brand and audience
  • Sound understanding of the principles of design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple constituencies requiring attention
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Maintain a high standard when representing the business
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
  • Solid communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work autonomously under pressure and yet deliver as a team
  • Skilled in project and time management
  • Comfortable in a multi-tasking, cross functional environment with the capability to plan a workload effectively

Your main tasks will include but not be limited to:

  • Design creative assets for the internal and external marketing activities of the company
  • Assist with the production and distribution of the email marketing activities of the company
  • To assist in the production of publications, sales material, web content and creative and other marketing related campaign material
  • Product management, development and marketing
