The role

We have an exciting vacancy for an Account Manager based in Sydney to manage our NSW, QLD, ACT distribution for the RADO brand.
The key to this position is the ability to represent and promote the brand by achieving sales targets, securing new business opportunities if required and maintaining excellent relationships with retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop strong relationships with Store Managers and hold regular meetings
  • Maintain and uphold an agreed call cycle
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets
  • Identify and open new relevant account opportunities for the brand
  • Identify opportunities and threats to driving sales and growing market share
  • Liaise between retailers and Head Office Logistics, Sales Support and Customer Service departments
  • Train store staff in new products and merchandising with a combination of demonstrations and presentations
  • Coordinate, book and assist VM Coordinator executing display initiatives for key campaigns (e.g. launches, events, etc)
  • Merchandise product in stores according to brand guidelines
  • Assist VM team in roll-out of new display material
  • Complete stock counts
  • Oversee customer range advising Brand Manager of inventory situation and core range gaps

Job Requirements:

  • Previous wholesale sales experience
  • Previous experience with luxury brand desirable
  • Proven experience achieving sales targets
  • Business acumen
  • Visual Merchandising and Training experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, email and Internet).
