A new opportunity is available for a Spray Painter / Cabinet Finisher to join the team at Gartshore’s purpose built state of the art manufacturing facilities in Tauriko, Tauranga.

They are seeking an experienced Spray Painter, ideally with a background in the cabinetry, joinery and shop-fitting industry, or similar.

Gartshore produce innovative, high spec, quality interiors for retail shops, hospitality, office and commercial businesses throughout New Zealand and abroad and have the latest equipment spray guns and spray booths available and an enthusiastic, professional team to work with.

Responsibilities include spraying stain lacquer and high gloss paint on cabinetry and we are looking for someone with strong skills in working to specifications and preparing, mixing, matching colours, painting, and resurfacing, who has a good knowledge of spray equipment, paint systems and up-to-date coating and preparation methods and technology.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with the initiative and drive to work in a fast paced industry, where attention to detail in producing quality finishes will be very well rewarded.

Hours of work are 7.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm Friday and we need someone who is flexible to work overtime when required. You will also need to be physically fit to do any heavy lifting required.An immediate start is available and a competitive pay rate will be determined on experience. 

Applicants for this position require New Zealand residency or a valid work visa and a good command of English, with the ability to follow instructions.
