Job Description:

The Sous Chef I'm looking for will have a varied role managing staff, ordering and managing stock and adhering to New Zealand Food Control standards.

For this role you will need:

  • Experience dealing with a large volume of covers in a busy environment
  • Have great pride in the food you put out
  • Thrive under pressure and this will bring out the excellence in your abilities
  • Understanding food safety requirements and execute this knowledge religiously
  • Experience leading from the front in a fast paced kitchen

Job Requirements:

The Chef we are looking for will be:

  • An experienced Senior CDP or Sous Chef with 3-5 years' experience
  • Focused on monthly food and labour costings
  • A great communicator with both the team and management
  • Can motivate and deal with pressure well
  • Open to working split shifts
  • Confident in their cooking abilities being able to put out 100+ covers in an evening
  • Looking for a great salary with loads of staff perks
