Job Description:

A 4 star hotel located in Te Anau in the heart of Fiordland with picturesque views overlooking Lake Te Anau. The hotel boasts 115 guest rooms, Restaurant and Bar, conference facilities, on site wedding chapel, spa, sauna, massage clinic and outdoor heated pool.

Executive Sous Chef / Sous Chef / CDP

  • Confident in all aspects of cookery
  • At least 2 years experience
  • Experience in a la carte restaurant, Buffett & Breakfast
  • Reporting to the Exec Head Chef
  • Cooking and preparing food to a high level on stanadard
  • Maintaning cleaning schedules & food safety records

Job Requirements:

We are looking for reliable and motivated Execitive Sous Chef / Sous Chef / CDP to join our team with a background showing previous culinary experience preferably within hotel/resort environments.

As a Executive Sous Chef / Sous Chef / CDP you will be responsible for the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items in the designated area of the Kitchen and for the maintenance of equipment and work area. Within the execution of these tasks you must maintain a spirit of enthusiasm, cooperation and resourcefulness among all contacts. If you are a team player who can work well under pressure, has professional manner, an eye for details and the ability to develop and add to the business we would really like to hear from you.
