THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Finance Department in a full-time, permanent capacity as a Risk and Compliance. This is a newly created role that poses exciting challenges within the operational risk management area. NZCU South embraces applicants with the desire to work hard and learn new skill-sets under the guidance of trained professionals. Job Requirements:

THE PERSON:

You will be working to uphold the existing Risk Management Framework and Business Continuity Plan. You will also review all risk-based policies and procedures within the wider organisation whilst ensuring legal compliance and management of the customer complaints process.

 

THE QUALITIES:

  • Strong communication skills enabling the management of internal/external stakeholders and members to positive effect;
  • Self-motivated and self-monitoring, with the capability of setting and achieving goals, adapting to change and responding to an array of requirements;
  • Familiarity with industry practice and professional standards as well as proven experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer or Auditor;
  • BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration or a related field;
  • Maintenance of a fresh and professional manner which shows character and stands up to varied challenges and situations;
  • Tenacity to achieve results within a demanding environment and prescribed timeframe
  • Strong problem-solving and management skills.
