Job Description:

Senior Customer Service - Supply Chain

Due to growth, our client is seeking expressions of interest, in a senior customer services role. They would be interested in hearing from quick-thinking customer focused team players, who excel in a busy environment, are used to processing high volume orders and have the gift of the gab.

This role will be challenging and will require you to manage service levels and targets, handle and resolve customer escalations, drive performance through speed & accuracy, to muck in and lead from the front along with establishing long standing relationships with trade wholesalers.

Your sense of urgency is key, you’re at home in a product & supply environment, you’re well versed in problem solving and you are ready to lend your skills to this established team. Ideally you would be coming from a manufacturing or distribution business, used to juggling email queries, orders, incoming calls and requests from sales reps. You would be the ULTIMATE multitasker. 

 

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager you will:

  • Have a strong foundation of customer service skills 
  • You are constantly striving to do things more efficiently – best practice
  • You will be a logical thinker, a problem solver and a 'bigger picture' person.
  • Strong PC skills, fast and accurate data entry skills 
  • You are level headed, cope well under pressure and have an ability to think on your feet without becoming flustered.
  • An understanding of business process in relation to Customer Services
  • Strong time management. Can handle pressure and enjoys a busy environment
  • Will muck in and be one of the team when needed. Walk the Talk!
  • Good interpersonal skills, being able to deal with people at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt in an every changing environment 
  • Process driven and orientated 
  • Have a knack for technical product 
  • Ideally you will come from a supplier-based background, within the trades industry.
  • To be well organized…full of energy, drive and committed to make things happen!
