About the Company

My client is a very successful company that supplies a diverse range of Cash Handling and Automation machinery, to all the industries of New Zealand that handle cash - banking and finance, large retail, vending, gaming etc. (ATM / TCR, Cash Counting, Cash Recycling, Self Service Machines etc). They are true leaders in their industry, with a market share of over 80%. They have been chosen as the number one supplier by their customers.

They are currently seeking to appoint a very switched-on Customer Service Coordinator/ Logistics Administrator to join their very dedicated team. It is a gutsy and full on role, in which you will be kept on your toes and the days will fly by.

 Customer Service Duties include: 4 days a week

  • Respond to service requests and escalations from customers (by phone, fax and text message),
  • Log the job into the system with all the appropriate details and complete administration processes
  • and transfer to the appropriate Field Service Engineers/Agents
  • Maintain the customer service interface and client relationships by providing professional telephone assistance
  • Ensure outstanding calls are closed through liaison with Field Engineers and communicating as appropriate with the customer

Operations and Logistics Approximately 1 day a week. Using their ERP system and by working with Sales and other departments you will add value to the Logistics operation, particularly in the area of Demand Planning and Stock Optimization. 

  • Ensure stock is on hand to meet agreed service levels and project requirements
  • Analyse, prepare and submit stock forecast reports based on known and projected project requirements 
  • Complete planned order releases in demand planning system
  • Assist with demand planning tasks as required


About You

  • Extremely clear and professional phone communication
  • Very customer service oriented. Good empathy and communication skills
  • Enjoys a busy environment - Able to juggle the phones and getting all the administration work completed
  • Process and systems driven. Efficient and effective!
  • A good geographical knowledge of NZ would help
  • Must be organised. Good time management 
  • Ability to build a strong relationship with the Service technical team.
  • Ability to pick up a new computer system with ease.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Any experience in a Logistics or Supply china environment. Keen on furthering this.
