Human Connections Group has partnered exclusively with Spark Business Manukau/Tamaki, Auckland for the appointment of a Business Development Manager.

The Job:
 
This business development role is responsible for delivering new customer acquisition in a manner that ensures that Manukau and Tamaki grows its revenue and customer base.  This will involve a high level of business partnering with new customers and building long term relationships. 
To succeed in this role, a strong focus on daily sales activity, building your sales pipeline, effective closing of sales and a focus on customer service and follow up is required.
In conjunction with the Sales Manager, this role is to build and maintain the sales and service delivery and ongoing growth of ICT products and services.
 
Primary Objectives:
  • Provide positive and constructive sales engagement with new customers and other members of your team
  • To meet and exceed your sales targets and KPI’s
  • To meet and exceed your daily customer contact targets
  • To grow our customer revenues and base
  • To provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • To optimise your usage of Salesforce to target business development activities that effectively grow and achieve agreed sales targets
  • To develop and maintain positive and pro-active business relationships with appropriate Spark staff
  • Build a strong sales pipeline, 30, 60 and 90 days

Job Requirements:

Person Requirements:

You are a Sales professional with a proven track record in outbound B2B & B2C retail sales and are looking to develop your career
  • Proven ability to consistently hit and exceed challenging sales targets and KPI's
  • Extensive previous sales experience within the ICT industry including LAN, WAN, Managed Data etc
  • You are hungry to achieve your goals, proactive in bringing in new sales and will work hard to do this
  • Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities with a strategic sales focus
  • Salesforce champion, owner of Salesforce and customer data
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Strong after sales services, ensuring smooth customer onboarding
  • Experience with both Telco and IT services
  • Demonstrate high energy, be proactive in bringing in new sales
  • Understands the sales process
  • Confident prospecting for new opportunities and able to leverage existing business relationships
  • Salesforce champion, owner of Salesforce and customer data
  • Computer literate, adaptability to various databases
  • Be able to illustrate strong influencing skills, combined with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit
  • Full NZ driving licence
