Job Description:

DC Equipment is a Nelson based, family owned company with a branch in Chile, a dealer network in Canada, USA and plans to expand to other international markets. 

Our people are dedicated to creating a safer and more productive steep slope logging industry throughout the world. We design, manufacture and sell the Falcon Forestry Equipment range of mechanised steep slope logging equipment. Our products significantly reduce the health and safety risk to workers whilst at the same time increasing the efficiency and productivity of logging operations.

We are focused on efficient smart product design and ongoing R&D of new and existing products to ensure we remain a world leader within our industry. 

We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our busy After Sales team.

Ideally you will have the following skills/attributes:
• Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Technician (Industrial/Forestry experience preferred but not essential as training would be offered to a suitable applicant)
• Strong diagnostic skills
• Strong verbal, written and listening skills
• A great sense of humour
• Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Can work effectively within a team environment and/or in a sole charge environment
• Excellent time management
• Focused on workplace Health & Safety
• Current Drivers Licence

Daily responsibilities:
• Service and maintenance of our Falcon Forestry products and a variety of Forestry Harvesting equipment.

This position is open now for immediate start to the successful applicant. Remuneration will be based on proven experience and skills.
