Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef for our Busy Wellington Waterfront Restaurant. As a senior member of the team, experience in similar restaurants and functions/events is an advantage. A great understanding of what it takes to run a busy kitchen is a must: food costs, time management, wage costs, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to succeed under pressure.

The successful applicant will: 

- have a proven track record of reliability and consistency 
- deliver a consistent product whilst managing a professional kitchen brigade
- be passionate about local produce and food trends
- problem solve and motivate others

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.

We are also looking for an experienced Chef de Partie/Line Cook who can master a section and smash out great food every shift.
