This HR Advisor role reports to the HR Manager and works closely with the HR Coordinator and OD Advisor to deliver HR and OD initiatives across two companies in the WEL group (WEL Networks and Ultrafast Fibre). As we are a small team we will need to work collaboratively and ensure we all focus on the agreed priorities. You will take a hands on approach to coach, guide and support managers and employees to be their best while demonstrating great HR practices.

With your proven effective application of employment relations legislation and fair practices you will be able to address concerns promptly and also utilise the strengths of the team to proactively address anything further. Your strong relationship building will ensure you understand the business needs and improve and deliver HR processes in the most efficient and communicative way.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sound HR advice and support provided to managers on day to day basis

  • Coaching managers to work through performance or employment relations situations

  • Deliver and improve HR processes such as recruitment, induction, performance and remuneration reviews and development/training

  • Support the implementation of new HR and OD projects and initiatives
