Our client is New Zealand’s largest supplier of adhesive tape products and pride themselves on stocking the most expansive range of adhesive tapes to suit New Zealand’s unique conditions. Their diverse range of products allows them to offer solutions for a very wide range of industries and customized applications. With their state-of-the-art tape conversion slitting plant, the tape can be customised to accommodate specific customer requirements.

With consistency in quality and performance of their products, they are becoming customers product of choice and are actively replacing more inferior brands that are not as effective.

 And this is where you come in…….

On their behalf, we are seeking a very focused and motivated Business Development Manager to actively grow new business. With a targeted, vertical market, business development plan, you will be meeting with new customers, determining their needs and promoting a solution to suit those needs.

The product range is extensive and there are applications to suit so many industries. You might be talking to a packaging company one day about an environmentally friendly adhesive tape, or to a construction industry manager who has a specific issue that they need fixed. (Or it could be someone in the Signage, Transportation, Warehousing, Marine, Exhibition, Flooring, Painting – Manufacturing, industry – you won’t be short of prospects).

The person we are seeking will need to be a problem solver, with a strong blend of technical intelligence and sales ability. They will enjoy finding clever solutions and will promote the right products, to increase the company’s brand presence and market share.

  • Is highly driven and seeks the further challenge of driving new business
  • Preference will go to those who have sold a similar type of product/ application.
  • Must have a proven history of new business acquisition
