BDM / ACCOUNT MANAGER - My Pick of the Month

Our client is the largest Australasian industrial and specialty gas company in the country.  Working closely a wide range of industries, they supply gas, gas equipment, and tailored gas packages.

Their range of gases includes those commonly used such as oxygen, nitrogen and welding gases to the rarest of gases like krypton. However, it is their service, people and guaranteed quality of their products that sets them apart from the rest.

On their behalf, we are seeking a very focused and motivated Business Development Manager to activity grow new business across the industrial gases portfolio in greater Auckland.

Approximate 50% of the time you will be prospecting for new business across the industrial gases portfolio in greater Auckland. Clients will be represented across many industries including mining, manufacturing, oil & gas, construction and specialty gases markets to name only a few. They will be a mixture of both major and smaller accounts, with some big wins to aim for.

The other part of the role will be spent managing and growing existing Key Account business, ensuring that your existing client portfolio is serviced the very best possible way. To do this effectively you will maintain an active call cycle, ensuring all the accounts in your portfolio are supported and high levels of customer satisfaction is achieved.

You will also support the sales channel partners with your expertise, when needed to further a sales opportunity.  By building strong and trusted relationships with the sales channel, you will ensure all opportunities to promote the brand and increase business is achieved.
