Job Description:

Due to a member of the intellectual property team going on parental leave, a law firm, based in Auckland CBD is currently seeking a Trade Mark Assistant to join their team on a 13-month contract.  
About the role
This trade mark assistant position will be starting from February 2019 to allow a hand over period. Within this role you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting a senior member of the team as well as working alongside the trade mark team
  • Trade mark processing and administration
  • Liaising with clients- over the phone and face to face
  • Billing

What they are looking for:
You will have previous experience working as a Legal Secretary supporting the intellectual property team, trade mark experience is preferred but not essential:
  • You will be confident in picking up new systems and databases
  • Be willing to work as part of a team to ensure deadline and targets are met
  • Be professional and able to communicate with clients on a mature level
