Human Connections Group has partnered exclusively with Affleck O’Meara – the superheroes of accounting for the appointment of a Company & Tax Administrator in their Queenstown office.

The Job:

This is a permanent full-time appointment Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week commencing Apr/May 2019, with some flexibility. The Company & Tax Administrator will ensure 100% accuracy of client tax records with the IRD and assist in ensuring clients are aware of their tax obligations. The role will also handle incorporation of new companies and limited partnerships whilst ensuring full compliance with the relevant Acts.

 

The Person:

Ideally you have prior experience in a similar role with an understanding of tax and company guidelines, however full training will be provided for the right candidate. You’re a people person with great written and verbal communication. You have great computer literacy and find it easy to pick-up on things.  

 

You may already live Queenstown or it’s somewhere you’ve had your eye on living so if you wish to relocate to this stunningly beautiful part of the country, that is an option too!

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Using a range of software, provide services to the Firm and clients including but not limited to:

 

  • Filing client tax returns with the IRD
  • Issue tax letters to clients in a timely manner
  • Reconcile clients tax position with the IRD records
  • Prepare and file necessary IRD applications
  • Incorporate new companies and Limited Partnerships (LPs)
  • File Annual Returns for companies and LPs
  • Prepare necessary company and LP forms for required changes and ensure public and statutory registers are accurate and updated
  • Liaise with clients as required
  • Assist in meeting firm’s obligations under Anti-Money Laundering Act
  • Front office support
  • PA duties to Directors
