SALES / Business Development

Our client is an innovative supplier to the manufacturing industries of New Zealand. They supply solutions that are used in most manufacturing industries. They are manufacturers and importers and are recognised for their clever product applications, as well as being able to customise solutions for the needs of their customers. They are also renowned for their responsive approach to ensuring their customers receive only the very best service and advice

As a team member you will enjoy a supportive environment with good leadership and will be encouraged to share your ideas and have an input into product development.

Sales people who enjoy helping their customers to improve their manufacturing processes and therefore improving efficiencies will get great satisfaction in this role.


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Growing and developing the company’s customer base by introducing new products to new and existing clients
  • Helping to develop a growth strategy for the company 
  • Working with client to gain new product specifications
  • Providing technical and general support to customers


Skills & Experience:

  • Business development expertise, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in solution sales
  • Highly developed sales skills and abilities, highly motivated and results focused
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and apply product applications
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships within the manufacturing environment
  • A drive to consistently exceed customer expectations
  • An interest to learn and upskill. A commitment to building a strong product knowledge
  • You are positively motivated, activity oriented and results driven


In this role your aim will be to grow thea existing portfolio of clients with new additions.  You will add value to your clients by being able to understand their needs and by offering the right solutions. An interest in finding solutions is paramount in this role.

Attractive Salary $70K - $85K + Commission + Vehicle
