This company is a global leader in providing maintenance and repair of containers, pallets and inflight food service equipment used in the Airline industry.

They are currently seeking special persons to join their team as an Airline Cargo Container Repair technician.

This is an opportunity with many developmental benefits and a long term employment opportunity.

The role is more than just Assembly, Maintenance and repairs of aircraft on board baggage and freight containers but will involve quality control requirements, accurate record keeping, fault finding and in time rectification.

Job Requirements:

Skills and attributes
The role is suited to person who may have had previous experience in Sheet metal Aluminium fabrication, maintenance and repair work such as alloy boat building, caravan and motorhome manufacture or similar. 

Attention to detail and be responsible for your work input and output is a necessity.

Being pro-active and investigate possible issues through the process of elimination.

Be mechanically minded is an attribute that would be beneficial.

Have good English, numeracy and organisation abilities and importantly, reliability.

Able to use technology and various hand and power tools

Ability to read basic technical drawings but not essential

Exposure to quality systems

Physically fit and strong and able to lift heavy items and work in cramped and stooped

Able to work in cold and at times arduous weather conditions

Hours of work.
Mon – Fri 40 hours week with some extra hours available depending upon work load and airline requirements. (Mon – Thur 0700 – 1530 and Friday 0600 – 1430)
