  • Manage key client relationships and hunt for new business in FMCG market.

About the role:

  • Managing key accounts to ensure continued and increased spend.
  • Prospecting and build new relationships with major FMCG clients, often involving tendering and presenting at senior level.
  • Have brand management and market positioning conversations to ensure customer product success.
  • Investigating product development in liaison with internal stakeholders.
  • Review client pricing and job costings in order to preserve desired margins.
  • Work with an internal team to ensure production and delivery is of the highest quality and "fit for purpose".

About you:

  • This is a senior level and technical labels role ideal for a candidate from Packaging, Labels or similar.  But a hungry successful B2B hunter from any manufacturing background will be considered for this role.
  • We are after a sales hunter who can account manage with around a 60 / 40 mix in this role.
  • You have a thorough understanding of marketing positioning, brand management and ideally a technical print manufacturing understanding.
  • With an engaging personality and strong customer focus, you understand the importance of uncompromising service.
  • You have exceptional communication skills and are able to present complex information at board level. 
  • You are computer savvy. 
  • You are extremely well organised and have high attention to detail.  You will have a large internal support team here, but you still must relay the information accurately and timely to ensure it is produced as per the clients specifications.
  • You are able to travel with your role  (approximately 3 nights / fortnight).
  • You have the proven discipline to work effectively in an predominantly autonomous role.
  • You can talk about you sales success (which should be listed as achievements in your CV).

Salary level is very competitive and package includes a company car and commission on top of a senior level attractive base salary & all tools of trade.
