Job Description:

Duties :

1.     Responsible for all planned and reactive maintenance across the site including managing contractors and liaising with other business lines to ensure the smooth operation of each facility.

2.     Responsible for managing soft service contracts for both cleaning and security.

3.     Responsible for the management of services and processes that support the core business of our organization.

4.     Ensure that the organisation has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.

5.     Involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises.

Job Requirements:

Areas of responsibility include:

        Procurement and contract documents management;

        Building and grounds maintenance;

        ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements;

        Cleaning, security;

        Utilities and communications infrastructure;

       Space management.

        Stock count

        Managing deliveries

        directing and planning essential central services such as reception, security,          maintenance, mail, archiving, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling;

        Customer service (emails, calls, faxes)

        Managing in and out going deliveries

        Project management and supervising and coordinating work of contractors;

        for any related building maintenance or repair work, calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money;

        checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies;

  • Training new staff and ensuring that work is done effectively by assisting the warehouse manager;


        Assisting owner for future planning of development in line with strategic business objectives;

        Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities;

        liaising with owners of the warehouse premise when necessary

        coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility;

        investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises when business requires;

        planning best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organizing current premises;

Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
