Our client is a social media marketing company in massive growth mode. As an advertising sales channel, they combine the power of a company’s brand and the millions of consumers using social media. They enable business to market themselves, with targeted campaigns, across Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

Particularly successful across New Zealand’s Real Estate market, our client allows Real Estate Companies and Agents to maximize the impact and returns of social media marketing.

Due to their continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspired Field Sales Consultant to join their Newton based sales team.

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to grow the Real-Estate Agent portfolio of customer. Agents are using all kinds of marketing, but Facebook advertising campaigns are really providing them the targeted reach that is bringing amazing results. Facebook has chosen our client as a partner to develop a platform for Realestate campaign marketing. And this is what you will be selling.

 Your day will be a mixture of doing prebooked visits to new Real-estate branches to do group presentation, or one-on-one presentations. Or it could be revisiting some of the Real-estate agents that are already using the platform successfully, or to those who might need a bit of extra training.

 You will need to be able to keep the balance of bringing on board new Realestate Agents, as well as working with your current agents, as you will get commission on both new business and the revenue produced by your active customers. Focusing on making sure you existing customers are happy and using the platform is just as important as bringing on new Agents.

So, a good mix of acquiring new business and Account Management. (With some training and customer on-boarding skills needed too).

 For those of you who aren’t that keen piles of cold calling, this could be a good role for you.

 A lot of your appointments are going to be prebooked by the Call Centre team, and the ones that you generate for yourself are quite targeted as you are only going to be working within Real-estate market.

What we really need in this role is someone who:

  • Is upbeat, fun, likeable, hungry to achieve
  • Excellent sales presentation skills. Can explain and sell a value proposition
  • Someone who naturally gets alongside their customers and creates effective positive relationships
  • Focused on customer retention as well as new business.
  • Provides support and follow-up & on-going product training within customer base
  • Have patience working with those who might be a bit slower to grasp technology
  •  A strong closer of business. Focused on achieving sales targets
  • Hardworking, Energetic and Ambitious and Accountable & Hungry to Achieve
  • Any experience working in or around  the Realestate or media industries  will be a bonus
  • Ability to travel
