Customer Service / Order processing - Mangere - $55k

About the Company

My client is a very successful company that supplies products to the building industry. They are experiencing continued growth and although not as large as their competitors, are winning orders due to their outstanding service.

They are currently seeking to appoint a switched-on person to join their office team who will initially commence in Customer Service/Order processing in their highly competent team. Once you have a clear understanding of how this works, your role will grow to include special project work including data manipulation etc. Training will be provided for this.

To be successful in this role, you will be the type of person who looks outside the square to find the answers, and is pro-active to gain the answer, not waiting to be advised!!! 

This is role that will keep you busy and challenged. 

This role includes: 

  • Customer service - Receiving enquiries and orders via email and phone
  • Processing high volume orders into ERP system - attention to detail here is key
  • Providing solutions to customers re: product items/strong product knowledge 
  • Liaising with warehousing to ensure order is filled and organise freight of order, and invoice
  • Providing Administrative Assistance to a manager when required
  • Progressing into the project work once you understand the product/system/back end

About You

  • Wants one step up from customer service/order processing 
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Very customer service oriented. Good empathy and communication skills
  • Thrives in a challenging role - this is not for the faint hearted
  • Process and systems driven 
  • Strong excel skills 
  • Must be organised and pro-active and want to take the next step to get involved in project work 
  • Enjoy working in friendly, competent, hard working team
