IT Support Engineer

Our client has developed a strong tradition over the last 30 years of providing top quality products and IT services to a range of businesses. They provide a full ranged of managed IT services including phone systems and internet security and make sure that they run seamlessly in the background. 

They are now seeking an IT Support person who has the ability to think quickly on their feet. You will be responsible for the installations and ongoing technical support for our client's customers, providing on-site and remote based support as well as developing long-lasting relationships with the customers.

To be successful in this role we would expect you to have all/most of the following:

  • Level 1 Support experience within a Managed Service Provider
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose a problem and come up with a solution in a timely manner
  • Experience with Microsoft servers such as Exchange, SQL and Active Directory and other desktop applications would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of VOIP would be a bonus
  • Confidence in your strong customer service skills
  • Experience working in a small team with the ability to work autonomously when needed
