Be part of a New Zealand owned Cabinetmaking Company that is experiencing growth and expanding rapidly.
 
RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT

As Project Administrator your role is primarily to be responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of projects that deliver effective financial growth for the Company. You will liaise with, give direction to and develop the team of production staff and/or any sub-contractors. You will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, that the project's objectives are met and that everyone else is doing their job properly.
 
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
  • Conceptual development
  • Managing project programming
  • Managing project variations
  • Representing the client's or organization’s interests
  • Providing advice on the management of projects
  • Carrying out risk assessment
  • Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
  • Making sure the quality standards are met
  • Using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
  • Organizing the team/s working on a project
  • Recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
  • Monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
  • Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing

Job Requirements:

SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • Tertiary Qualifications
  • Must have one or two years of  experience in similar role and supervision
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
  • Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand
