National Commercial Sales | Business Development Manager - Commercial Flooring

  • Work for an Australasian market leader presenting quality commercial flooring.
  • Drive sales with Architects / Interior Designers and Commercial Contractors
  • An autonomous nationwide role at a senior level.  Excellent remuneration on offer.
  • This role is based from Auckland (80% of your time) and includes regular nationwide travel.

Represent an Australasian well-known market leader in quality commercial flooring solutions, maintaining & growing their New Zealand commercial division.

About the role

  • Representing the extensive product range of flooring solutions to Architects, Interior Designers and Flooring Contractors.
  • In addition, liaise with end users to ensure correct specification.
  • Provide quotations to Commercial Contractors on major projects.
  • Conduct formal presentations, attend trade shows and network with key customer groups in your specific regions.
  • Assist and drive promotional strategies for the NZ market

About you

  • You are currently prospecting, winning and managing key relationships in the commercial building and construction market.
  • Ideally you are, or have worked in the flooring industry, however selling and specifying another product into the same customers would also be equally as advantageous.
  • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, and the confidence to present to top tier decision makers.
  • You are customer focused, able to relate to a range of customers from Interior Designers to Commercial Contractors, understanding their challenges and committed to delivery.
  • You are very motivated and driven to succeed, and are seeking an opportunity to be recognized and rewarded in a national strategic business development position.
