This nationally based organisation has a well renowned reputation and provides its employees with an environment that is the envy of its competitors. They are the premier supplier of all HVAC offerings (i.e. HVAC controls, HVAC equipment low voltage technology solutions etc.) across all building types.

On their behalf we are seeking to appoint a Senior HVAC Sales Professional to be charged with selling HVAC equipment, controls and service agreements, across targeted customers across New Zealand

 In particular this role will focus on developing HVAC chiller solutions targeting all kinds of  projects from new building development or retrofit as well as chiller plant replacement.

We are looking for is a technically minded and driven sales professional who is hungry to achieve. Those with experience that can tap into the new commercial build market, combined with a technical solutions sales background will also be looked on favourably.

Competencies Sought:

  • HVAC Sales experience (Experience within the chiller market is preferred)
  • Ability to prospect from the existing client base, and for brand new clients
  • Establishes and maintains long term customer relationships with key and target customers, architects, consulting engineers and contractors to influence opportunities.
  • Confidence and credibility at senior level negotiations
  • Ability to pitch customized solutions that support the customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements. 
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both on a technical and non-technical basis
  • Engage on design work, tendering, project execution, aftersales services and trouble-shooting in HVAC service as well as chiller replacement project.
  • Understanding of how to apply pricing and customizing individual customer proposals
  • Ability to respond to and hold the relationship in tender response.
  • Ability to a mange and progress a sale pipeline
  • A strong closer of business
