We are looking for a proven SAP NetWeaver / Basis Technology Service Line Leader that has experience across Managing Internal Teams, Managing external Client Relationships, as well as having strong Strategic and bottom line Financial Management capabilities.

This is a high-level Business Critical and strategic management role; a multi-faceted position with wide reaching internal and external influence.

This role will sit on the Senior Management Team. It is considered to be a key Strategic, Management and Operational role with bottom line financial responsibilities of the Netweaver / Basis Business Line.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for achieving company objectives, and seeing strategic goals come to life.

You will work across many other business lines, providing guidance and resources to the entire SAP team.

And most importantly, you will be managing a team of SAP Guru’s (consisting of Architects to Consultants), who are high achievers that have been hand-picked from around the globe. You will be responsible for managing and inspiring a talented team of consultants and further enabling their growth and delivery capabilities. You will also be responsible for recruiting new members of the team.

Your role will be based in New Zealand and will involve travel to Australia and possibly further afield when required.

You will be accountable for the development and maintenance of customer relationships, work on pre-sales initiatives, having significant input into bids, resourcing projects and overseeing the delivery process.

It is imperative that you come from an SAP technical background yourself. You must be able to engage in robust conversations at a technical level – with your team and with clients. You need to be credible and confident of your abilities to lead and further motivate some of the best SAP people in the industry.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Proven SAP technical experience, at a senior level.
  • Background in consulting and/or customer facing roles.
  • Experienced people-leader.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with solid financial management experience.
  • Excellent English language communication and interpersonal skills, with the critical ability to build and lead delivery teams.
  • You will need to have had a consistent history of being a high performer with excellent results.
