Procurement Specialist-Penrose

An excellent opportunity as arisen for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join this large and very busy organisation located in Penrose.  Establishing and maintaining supply contracts with a large number of suppliers you will get to fully utilise your negotiating and relationship building skills. 

Duties include:

  • Undertake Needs Analysis for procurement initiatives
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
  • Negotiate and finalise documentation
  • Prepare and present recommendations
  • Manage transition and implementation of incoming/outgoing suppliers
  • Ensure sound financial analysis
  • Ensure savings opportunities for the organisation
  • Manage contract performance and compliance
  • Other adhoc duties

To be considered you will ideally have:

  • A qualification in Business, supply chain or procurement
  • 5 + years experience with Procurement (Exposure to health sector would be an advantage)
  • 5 + years proven negotiation and contract management experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and commercial relationship building experience
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • A proven legal experience with Contracts Management
  • Deadline driven and a good attention to detail
