Our client is part of ASX listed Group and is a diversified trans-Tasman Financial Services and Vehicle Solutions group. In New Zealand, they aspire to be the number one ICT, Equipment and Vehicle leasing partner for small and medium sized businesses across the country.   

On their behalf we are looking for a very goal-oriented Business Development Manager.  You will be responsible for securing new dealers in the following sales (dealer) channels - ICT and Audio visual, Telco, Security, Print, Hospitality, Point of Sale, Fitness, Software and Services, Motor Vehicle (Fleet) and more.   

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the sales output directly associated with a network of new dealer accounts. You will be required to identify, on-board and activate new dealers through building superior relationships and by selling their value proposition.

The Role:

  • Identify and acquire new dealers to increase the number of active partners in your portfolio
  • On board and activate new dealers
  • Provide sales motivation coaching to salespeople in dealerships
  • Support and deliver high levels of contact across the dealer environment
  • Work internally with the sales development team to provide a high level of service and contact to your dealer and salesperson network
  • Organising and running roadshows and dealer presentations
  • National travel required every 3 months (quarterly)

  • You are a Sales professional looking to develop your career

  • Proven experience in identifying new business opportunities with a strategic sales focus.
  • Ability to pitch a value-add solution that supports your client's business objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong pipeline management experience
  • Strong after sales services, ensuring smooth customer onboarding
  • In a perfect world you will have 4 - 5+ years sales experience within ICT or finance sector
