BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Great Work from Home Opportunity

Our client is New Zealand's leading market intelligence tool that is used by companies who offer a wide range to services to the construction and infrastructure industries of New Zealand. (Archiects, product manufacturers and suppliers, contractor's, developers, financiers, and may other professionals).

They're very busy and so are seeking to appoint another Business Development Manager to continue to assist in growing their client memberships.

WHAT A GREAT ROLE!

The JOB

  • Presenting to key decision makers and tailoring solutions to suit their businesses
  • Supplementing leads generated by telemarketers by own prospecting and cold calling
  • Putting together sales documentation/ proposals
  • Being active in the market with 8 sales presentations a week. 
  • Management of sales pipeline
  • Confident in both face to face as well as web-based presentations.

About YOU

  • 3+ years' Sales experience (open to industry, but preference for those who have sold a non- tangible solution or a service, rather than product)
  • Must be entirely confident in new business activities
  • Vision to create solutions that benefit the client & maximize sales
  • Communicates with confidence & intelligence – be commercially savvy
  • Hungry to achieve. Will go the extra mile.
  • Strong time management and pipeline management experience
  • A proven track record of securing new business & achieving sales activity targets.
  • Ability to tailor a solution to suit the needs of your clients.
  • Closing the deal; with a smile and exceptional service, and then on to the next!
  • Ability to work independently, possibly from a home office.
     

You will need to demonstrate attributes of drive, adaptability, be a strong presenter, communicator and listener. You will already be a seasoned sales person, who is confident in their own sales ability, comfortable operating at a senior level, hungry to exceed and one that delivers results by being active in the market.

You will join a team of professional sales people, who are motivated and driven, management that is supportive and will treat you like the senior sales person that you are….no micro managing here.

The remuneration for this position will include a generous base + uncapped commission to easily achieve in excess of $100K uncapped.
