CNC MACHINIST OPERATOR / PROGRAMMER
 
Creative design and manufacturing company based in Albany's industrial estate, on the North Shore of Auckland who specialize in high speed / quality manufacturing / design work - from initial concept and design through to final execution of all types of jobs who can design anything. Including but not limited to, promotional designs for agencies / clients direct as well as interior fit outs / designs for retail stores / offices and one-off bespoke designs are their speciality.
 
Is this you?

  • An experienced CNC Programmer
  • With previous hands on experience operating a CNC Morbedelli 5 Axis machine.
  • Can work in a high paced environment manufacturing & design company

 
This company are looking for an experienced CNC Operator / Programmer to join their team. Employing a variety of different skilled trade backgrounds, including but not limited to engineering, carpentry, sheet metal works, welding, shop fitting, installation, project management printing and design professionals. As their CNC Operator / Programmer, you'll be writing code to automate power driven machines that cut and finish metal, wood or plastic such as lathes, grinders and mills. You'll also be operating a CNC Morbedelli 5 Axis machine.
 
 
Key qualities of an ideal candidate:

  • Setup and administration of CNC
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Software and general understanding of computing
  • Knowledge and skills in the operation of computer systems and CNC machinery
  • A tertiary qualification in networking and providing support is advantageous
  • Able to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times
  • A good attitude, a team player and not afraid of a challenge
  • Clear fluent English must be spoken in order to follow instructions and for Health & Safety reasons
  • Applicants should have the right to work in NZ and be ready to start as soon as possible

 
 Job details:

  • Type: Full time permanent position
  • Wage: $30-$35/hr neg with qualifications, skills & experience
  • Based: North Shore, Auckland
  • Start: A.S.A.P.
