Job Description:

An established kitchen manufacturing company in Auckland are keen to add a Pre-Production Processor to their team. The ideal candidate will come from previous kitchen background, or at the very least, have some form of furniture experience. The company use state of the art CAD software, which allows clients to visualise what their high-quality custom-built designer kitchens will look like, all in 3D, once completed.
The main job objective is working closely with manufacturing team, to ensure the factory-floor will receive accurate designs, that can then be manufactured, with the budget / time / cost components having been factored in. Achieving ‘right-first-time’ of the completed kitchen that will be dispatched and installed smoothly by the installer.
Essential skills and qualities required for the job:
  • CAD software (CabMaster / EziNest) & general computer skills experience essential
  • Create nested cutting files for the CNC and print job files for factory and installers.
  • Able to check final production plans for accuracy, ensuring all special requests are included, reviewed and adjusted for manufacturing & machining purposes.
  • Trouble-shoot manufacturing queries and handle re-works and remedial parts.
  • Calculate stock requirements and raise purchase orders.
  • Order non-stock items from suppliers including hardware, appliances, bench tops, etc.
  • Check all products are correctly delivered, matching packing slips to purchase orders.
  • Co-operative and willing to assist in any resolving issues and errors
  • Open minded to learning and receiving training, accept feedback & willing to train staff
  • Meet with Managers to review achievement levels and devise actions plans, if required, to improve performance

  • Able to follow and design systems and protocols for personal efficiency
  • Strong maths skills required
  • Legally able to work (NZ Citizen / Resident)
