This is a rare opportunity to join an established Internal Audit team that is recognised for setting new standards in assurance practices, methodologies, leadership and innovation.  Reporting to the Store Audit Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor across your region and use your strong technical and commercial skills to uphold best practice risk management and process in our Farmers Stores. 

As a Regional Store Auditor, you will be:

  • Influencing and motivating key stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
  • Managing the delivery of audit projects against the Store Internal Audit Programme in line with risk and control methodology
  • Providing coaching and consulting to the business to continuously improve audit results and support ad hoc initiatives
  • Exposure to Support Office departments - including but not limited to Distribution, Merchandise and IT

We are looking for someone who has: 

  • A proven track record in providing risk and control advice to business and/or project teams
  • 3 years' + Internal audit experience
  • A willingness to travel nationally throughout Greater Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions.
  • Experience in Data Analytics and excellent report writing skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and to remain resilient under high pressure situations.
  • Retail experience (advantageous)

This position will be based in our Hamilton Office but will require regular travel to our Farmers stores and our National Support Centre, based in East Tamaki, Auckland.
