Based in Mt Wellington, this team is part of a publicly listed company that is in growth mode. They are currently strengthening their Sales team so are seeking to appoint a dedicated Sales Person to initiate sales conversations with prospects that are already known to the company.  You will be contacting these customers to share the new product and service offering to ensure they understand how it will benefit their business and bring them on board. 

This  is a phone based role, but not the type of role where you will be make 200 calls and reading off a script. These are sales conversations where by you will be completing a full solution sales process on the phone. It won’t be hard, but you have to have a certain amount of commercial acumen and confidence in your communication to work through the sale call to a close.

We are after those who have previous phone sales experience who want to take their career to the next level.   We want applications from those who are driven and take their career seriously and will put the effort in to earn their stripes to enjoy sales success.  You will be a highly motivated, confident communicator, who thrives on achievement and hitting their targets.

You will be supported by an amazing Sales Manager, who will give you all the training and all the tools needed for you to be successful…BUT what they can't give you is the attitude and commitment for you to be a success.

You will have to provide this……. and piles of it!!!

To do this you will need the following: 

  • Previous phone sales experience.
  • To be articulate with a professional phone manner
  • Hard working to achieve your goals
  • Confident in your own ability to engage and hold sales focused conversations
  • Be tenacious, enthusiastic, positive, have a "Make it happen" attitude
  • Thrive in a busy (but fun) environment
  • Any finance experience would be beneficial.
  • Sense of humour and team spirit is a must!!!
  • Keen on working hard to reach career milestone sand getting progression within the company
