The Role:

 We are seeking a very experienced and switched on SEO and AdWords specialist to take responsibility for SEO research and implementation across a suite of New Zealand and Australian websites.

 You will also be responsible for the development implementation of Google and Facebook media plans, including budget recommendations for AdWords, along with the remarketing and any other relevant Google and Facebook Product.

We are looking for someone to take a proactive approach to content and keyboard research, link building and expansion of content efforts of multiple websites.

The Role in more detail

  • Produce results the materialize in increased authority, rankings, traffic and ultimately revenue
  •  Track, report and analyze website analytics for SEO
  • Perform ongoing keyword analytics for SEO
  • Write or optimize ON-Page elements content for landing pages
  • Create and update category/ landing pages
  • Implement SEO recommendations
  • Research and analyze competitor keywords and backlinks
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Work with the content analyst and marketing team to drive SEO in content creation
  • Recommend Changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  •  Maintain and tune up internal search filtering to improve search results
  • Use internal search tool, create landing pages
  •  Manage recommendation engine results, maintain product feed, ensuring all new items are added to the correct subcategories of the product recommendations & update taxonomy
  • Involvement in major changes to websites

Day to Day AdWords management work involves:

  • Performing Keywords research to find the best advertising opportunities
  • Mining Search query reports to add new long-tail keywords, match types and negative
  • Performing and acting on competitive analysis
  • Interpreting AdWords reports
  • Managing bidding strategies
  •  Writing and testing new ads
  • Making adjustments to increase accounts performance


  • Minimum of 3 years’ SEO experience in managing campaigns
  • Understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytic)
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine Algorithms
  • Up-to date with the latest trends and best SEO practices
  • Experience with internal search tools
  • Familiarity with link metrics like Domain Authority, Page Authority, Trust Flow
  • Working knowledge of search engine research tools (SEM Rush, Ahrefs, Google search console, Google Adwords Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Pardot, etc)
  •  Working knowledge of outreach tools and plugins (Bussumo, Streak, Gmail, Google Spreadsheets, etc)
  • Working knowledge of tracking tools (Google Anlytics etc)
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Very strong Analytic capability
  • Ability to handle a busy workload. Deadline oriented with multiple projects on the go
  • Self-starter, a doer,” let’s get it done” attitude
  • Good at making decisions, resilient, pragmatic and resourceful
  • Tertiary qualified preferred
