Our client represents a very successful high end, premium Spa brand. By consistently remaining ahead of the competition through their commitment to quality, as well as providing expert service, they have gained market leader status both in NZ and Internationally.

Their Head office team supports a network of 24 branches of resellers across New Zealand and due to company growth they have created a new Customer Service / Helpdesk role, to ensure their customers and their internal team are getting the support they need.

On their behalf, we are seeking a very switched on Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for delivering amazing Customer Service and technical support to customers and the wider Sales team

The roles will cover, Customer Service, Technical Support (phone-based helpdesk type enquiries), Post Sales Customer Service, client follow up, pre-delivery support and associated Administration and allocation of Service technicians.

To be successful and effective in these roles you will need to previousTechnical Customer Service or Help Desk experience is desired. (The spas are not extremely technical, but you will need to be able to learn how they operate on a technical level, so that you are confident diagnosing issues, interpreting faults and troubleshooting faults). This will be learned, but if you are not technical at all…I suggest that this is not the role for you.


Things that you will need to:

Have Top notch communication skills - a clear and concise and friendly phone manner is essential

Be a logical thinker who can problem solve & think outside the square to come up with the best solution but know when to escalate it

Develop the technical capability to fulfil phone-based problem solving

Have Patience & Listening Skills: Has the ability to communicate to those of us who are less technically minded 

Have Excellent time management skills and be highly organised to log every job in the correct manner and in a timely fashion

Strong Administration and documentation skills.
Contribute positively to a great team environment

Be extremely client focused, where good service is paramount.


Duties will include

  • First point of contact for Customer Service with Technical Support resolution wherever possible 
  • Listening to your customers and helping them with their queries
  • Diagnosing the issue on the phone and try and solve remedial faults
  • Identifying when a service technician will be required to visit
  • Allocating service technicians to jobs that require a visit
  • Assisting the dealers with more technician queries.
  • Finding the solution and following up if it needs further investigation.
  • Build a positive and helpful rapport with your customers to ensure they get the very best service
  • Respond to all correspondence from various sources within required timeframes
  • Preparing invoicing documentation with service charges etc
  •  Ensure all warranty claims are logged correctly and processed
  • Ensure that all customer complaints and technical queries are dealt with effectively
  • Contribute to team discussions and meetings by sharing ideas and experiences to ensure the best possible service and solutions are provided at all times 
  •  Ensuring all associated administration is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Good Computer skills. Able to pick   up a new system. ( NetSuite)

This is a role full of variety and responsibility.  And really requires someone who is very organized and has absolutely first-rate client serving skills.  Along with a level head, a bucket load of initiative and an upbeat personality.
