We are looking for a Coordinator for our Tauira Registry team who has exceptional people skills, initiative and a positive, can-do attitude and who is a supportive team player.

About the role:

The primary purpose of the Coordinator - Tauira Registry is to:

  • Provide accurate, timely administrative and quality assurance support in all matters relating to tauira enrolment, attendance, results, graduation and records.

  • Liaise with takiwā and providers, tauira and internal and external stakeholders to ensure enrolment and programme administration and compliance standards are consistently met

You will do this by:

  • Responding to tauira, kaimahi and stakeholder queries

  • Processing tauira enrolments in a timely manner

  • Providing data management, performing data quality and spot checks and verifying enrolments and results

  • Managing the inward and outward flow of tauira information both electronically and on paper

  • Identifying quality improvement opportunities

  • Printing and distributing Academic Records and Tohu

  • Maintaining positive stakeholder relationships

About you:

  • You have a Certificate in computing and / or business administration (Level 4) or relevant qualification

  • You have experience in academic administration and/or customer service

  • You have knowledge and expertise in student management systems

  • You are a supportive, collaborative team member who has the ability to get messages across using the appropriate method to suit the audience

  • You have a sound understanding of te reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings and of Māori values, culture and tikanga
