About the Workshop Managers Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Workshop Manager to effectively manage our busy workshop team in Ruakaka, Northland.

The Workshop Manager is a key member of the management team reporting directly to the Northland Branch Manager.

This role is key to the delivery of the company's continued  growth strategy and the role is focused on the safety, quality and service of our workshop.

The successful candidate who demonstrates energy and commitment to the company's growth strategy will be offered the opportunity to be part of a business that is diverse, offering expertise in all areas of industrial engineering.

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes: 

• Previous experience in Workshop Management
• A well seasoned trade engineer with general fabrication experience across a wide range of industries.
• Confidence to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• An influential leader who can coach & mentor a team
• Ability to manage job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations
• Preference for candidates with an oil and gas fabrication background.
