Job Requirements:

Company are on the hunt for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team, who will be responsible for maintaining a culture of zero harm and continuous improvement of safety performances. A team player who is able to provide timely and accurate costing and quotations ensuring the company remains competitively priced in their target market. Manage workflows in order to meet project and business deadlines whilst liaising with other employees, suppliers and customers for the best outcome.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  • Quantity Surveying - price building works for quoting, draft & provide scope of works as required including price installation of factory produced items.
  • Complete tender documentation in conjunction with sales & technical staff.
  • Visit sites to with Estimator when necessary.
  • Project Implementation - assist project manager and follow up on producer statements from sub-trades.
  • Arrange handover meetings and ensure all information is passed over to the right person
  • Claims - all progress claims and Vo's must be completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Variations - variations are priced and approved prior to work starting, all parties aware of variations that may affect them and are invoiced out in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Safety - create and maintain a safe workplace, by abiding the industry / company safely rules.
  • Correct standards and certifications are followed / obtained when completing projects

Skills & Attributes required:

  • National Certificate in Quantity Surveying
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and processes
  • Be punctual and work the hours / times specified.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.
  • Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels.
