Accounts Payable Officer

We are looking for an experienced full-time permanent Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy and fast moving team based in a the public sector with offices located in Wellington Central.

About the role: 

In this role you will be responsible for the running of the Accounts Payable desk while assisting the Finance Team as a whole. Some of your day to day duties will be:

  • Processing supplier invoices
  • Reconciling vendor statements
  • Ensuring purchasing processing deadlines are met
  • Assist the team with transaction processing & workflow improvements
  • Resolve queries and follow up on outstanding issues


About the candidate: 

To be considered for this permanent position you will need: 

  • 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Intermediate excel skills - creating reports and analysing data
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Preferably SAP)
  • Ability to complete your assigned tasks to deadline 
  • Ability to work autonomous as well is in a tight knit team
