Job Description:

Responsible for managing day-to-day support tasks, you will work alongside development and product teams to provide assistance in guiding business practices and procedures. Your tasks include responding to first-line support calls via phone and email and reaching out to stakeholders to convey crucial information from engineering and product teams. You will have an analytical mindset and should be able to explain complex business problems and concepts to non-technical users. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside despatch offices and trucking contractors to administer user credentials and field support calls.

  • Troubleshoot common setup problems with customers and installers.

  • Working with engineering teams to communicate product releases and upgrades to the customer base.

  • Define and resolve first line support and product related issues, such as setup and technical issues with systems and their interfaces. Effectively communicate changes and issues to business groups and functional areas. 

  • Gathering critical information from users and liaising with second-line support to ensure timely resolution of issues.

  • Serve as a knowledge base for the product and process and assist other teams and stakeholders in crucial decision making and project executions. 

  • Develop training manuals and document findings during product validation and UATs.

Job Requirements:

Skills required:

  • Have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, in English.

  • Possess a high level of overall IT literacy and a passion for technology.

  • Must be experienced in troubleshooting issues, working with customer support and despatch teams.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience helpdesk and ticketing systems.

  • 2+ years frontline customer support experience.

  • Have advanced analytics skills and enjoy solving problems using logic, common sense and initiative.  Excel skills a bonus.

  • Thrive on challenging work, juggling a variety of duties at any given time.

  • Be assertive, self-driven and able to work unsupervised.

  • Aptitude to pick up new tools and approaches.

  • Due to the nature of the position, some out-of-hours work will be required.
