Sales / BDM position
Sokoza limited is a young and growing engineering company based in Matamata, that specialises in the design and manufacture of truck and UTE service vehicle bodies and decks, looking for a highly motivated and knowledgeable sales / business development person to help expand our client and product base. Being the face of the company, you will have the determination to create and apply an effective sales strategy to drive sustainable financial growth and develop great long term relationships.
Experience:
Having an engineering background.
Proven experience in sales or business development role
Good understanding of and relevant hands on experience within the transport and or engineering industry
Coming from the transport engineering/manufacturing industry would be an advantage.
Knowledge, skills and responsibilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Professional level of negotiation skills
Good business financial understanding
Job costing and quoting knowledge/experience essential.
Sourcing new business and building relationships with key stakeholders
Maintaining accurate customer records
High levels of personal responsibility and integrity
Skilled in “cold calling”, business development and closing sales
Competent with Microsoft applications and job management software
Health and safety experience
