Job Description:

Our client has over 30 years industry experience and have 10 branches nationwide with over 250 staff. We specialise in document destruction, offsite records storage and vault-based media storage.

The role involces working across the operational activities of processsing secure destruction onsite. The role reports to and works closely alongside the branch management team. The role also includes the below;
  • Plan and manage the production of shredded paper bales by forecasting production volumes, meeting strict export deadlines, maximising value, and controlling bale type and quality.
  • Manage destruction staff to meet objectives by supervising, allocating and coaching.
  • Process bins, bulk, and e-waste in accordance to contract and in compliance with NAID, keeping full bins on the factory floor to a minimum.
  • Oversee the moving and storage of paper bales and the loading of containers.
  • Understand how the plant operates and maintain it with regular checks and servicing as required. Foster relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure a consistent supply of empty bins for the destruction drivers.
  • Manage e-waste to ensure it’s processed within contract requirements, maximising recyclable value
  • Review, develop and maintain processes to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Keep a clean, tidy and organised factory.
