Job Description:

This position is for a Plasterer and Office Manager.  3 days in the office and 2 days on site plastering. Must have experience in both areas.

Plastering
The successful applicant must have 2 years minimum experience in exterior solid plastering and PPCS systems is required for this position.  The applicant will be based in Canterbury, will also need the flexibility to work in the Queenstown covering the Otago region


Applicants should be tool capable, have the ability to lift heavy objects, willing to work hard and dedicate themselves to learn.  Must be conscientious and pay attention to detail, reliable and comfortable working in a team environment.

Experience in the following:
  • Fixing Integra panels over wooden battens, EPS from 40mm to 100mm.
  • Preparing surfaces for applications of plaster, cement, texture or similar materials.
  • Mixing mortar and plaster to consistency according to specification required.
  • Applying coats of plaster using trowels, brushes or spray guns.
  • Must show skill in various types of plastering methods and achieve great finishes including matching plaster textures.

Office manager

Manage the day-to-day operations of the office.
Contributing to the planning and reviewing of office service standards, health and safety regulations.
Managing data, accounts, files, reports and records.
Liaising with different departments, professionals and co-operators.
Ensuring company equipment, expenses and supplies are maintained.
Ensuring work complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures.
Detailed project report writing.
Manage Payroll, Account receivable and Payable



A good knowledge of KPI and background of people management.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent financial reporting and control abilities.
The ability to liaise with all levels of personnel.
Focus on details.
Advanced computer skills.
At least a Certificate in Xero.
Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Holiday and sick pay will be provided on pro rata basis.

References will also be requested to verify quality of workmanship.
