Our client is a NZ owned supplier of packaging, as well as a broad range of hygiene and health related consumables. With an extensive nationwide distribution footprint, they are a recognised and valued supplier to their clients across New Zealand. They are in a period of tremendous growth and so are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to champion the marketing activities of the company.

You will be involved in the creation and execution of all marketing campaigns and projects to drive brand awareness, sales and business growth.  Supported by Digital Marketer and Graphic Designer, you will be implementing the company's digital road map as well as be involved in traditional marketing activities.

The Role:

  • Translate the company vision into the strategic marketing plan and implement it across the business
  • Implement marketing and promotional plans for individual brands. Review, shape and align.
  • Build brand awareness and increase visibility across all channels.
  • Drive customer engagement across different brands and their target markets
  • Drive lead generation strategy, targeting audiences
  • Overall management of all SEO & Social media implementation. Monitor and evaluate.
  • Continually reviewing all available insights for improved reach, conversions, audience targeting, campaign planning and creative development.
  • Create compelling content, that adds value to customers and is aligned to business goals
  • Competitor analysis and market research
  • Oversee website management including content management, site optimisation, remarketing etc
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate marketing work conducted by third parties and agencies
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of brand image, ensuring the company branding and identity are maintained and developed.

About you:

  • 7+ years in B2B marketing
  • Strong knowledge of Digital Marketing and Social marketing
  • Experience in online marketing that has resulted in tangible business results
  • Understanding of how to build brands and execute brand strategy
  • Someone who sees the 'big picture" but is very hands on.
  • Good organisation and planning skills, with experience in cross-departmental coordination
  • Knowledge of basic web development – able to jump into the back end of a website
  • Out of the box mindset and problem-solving abilities
  • Be adaptable, flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An up to date knowledge of industry and marketing best practice
  • Marketing Qualifications desired

We are looking for someone who has proven technical marketing experience and can demonstrate their ability to grow brands and top line performance.  You will think commercially and thrive on opportunities to take ownership and deliver strong business results.

 You will be working across multiple projects and will be involved in strategy, but you will need to be the sort of person who is equally happy getting stuck into the nitty gritty.
